Top 5 Best Podcast For College Students
I’ve been riding the podcast train for a while now and I love listening to a funny insightful podcast. They make me feel productive and are a good companion for boring tasks like cleaning.
As a college student, I’m always looking for a podcast that is both entertaining and educational.
So if you're on the hunt for some podcast that will make you think but won't put you to sleep, here are some of my favorite podcasts that are great for students:
The Ground-up Show
I don't know if you know who Matt D’avella is, but he's awesome. He makes great self-improvement videos on youtube and his podcast is no different.
He and his guest cover everything from building habits, to starting a business. He’s a videographer too so his stuff is always great quality and he's a pretty entertaining guy.
I would recommend his podcast if you're into self-improvement stuff.
Dear Hank and John
The youtube original green brothers! John and hank green have a podcast where they answer questions and it's both hilarious and eye-opening.
The topics range from “what’s the right way to put on a paperclip” to” how to know where you are in space”. This podcast is an OG favorite of mine and I would recommend it to any student.
Stuff you Missed in History Class
A history podcast that doesn't put you to sleep? Yes, ma’am! I love this podcast because it feels more like storytelling than lecturing.
It's like getting to know the people of the past and it so freaking interesting. You don't have to be a history buff to enjoy this podcast. They cover everyone topics from Mary queen of Scots to Baker’s rebellion.

The Daily
Wanna get a snapshot of what's happening in the world in under 30 minutes? Yes, then this podcast is for you.
It’s produced by the New York times and it just a refreshing way to get caught up on global news on your own time and without all the catastrophizing. I find that its a less intimidating way to be a conscious global citizen.
Sh*t They Don't Tell You
This is my guilty pleasure. If you're a fan of crass humor but also want some pretty solid life advice, then this is the perfect podcast for you.
Steve and Nicki have me in absolute stitches but they also cover some great topics like buying your first houses, dating, self-love, and all that stuff that you don't learn in school. I highly recommend this podcast.
Choosing podcasts is a personal decision because it all depends on what you like, but I hope you can find a few on this list that gets you excited and I hope they impact you as much as they have me. Learning doesn't have to be boring and podcasts are just one of the ways I make learning fun.
