Hi, I’m Georga-Kay the writer behind scholastic babe. I’m a college sophomore in Atlanta, Georgia. I started Scholastic Babe as a Tumblr Blog where I documented my college application in the online community “Appblr”. After a year of blogging and recognizing the need for “average” students to see themselves in academia, I decided to create this blog right here. I wasn't the perfect student but I was still doing the thing and that was pretty empowering. After lots of growth, disappointment and lesson and 10,000 followers later, this blog was created to be a safe for student to figure out how to be better students and humans. I love writing about everything from college planning to finding fun things to do in college on a budget.
